STACEY CONSTRUCTION

The New Year got off to a cracking start for Stacey Construction with news that the Company has been awarded two large contracts totalling in the region of £4 million.

Commencing shortly is an exciting and prestigious £2 million development at Dartmouth Pottery. This project includes the refurbishment and conversion of the old Grade II listed pottery to provide nine luxurious apartments with open plan offices on the top floor. Eight new three-storey mews style houses are to be built overlooking a courtyard within the grounds—many with views over the Dart estuary.

Work has already commenced on a £2 million project for the Fire Service (FSNBF) at Harcombe House, Chudleigh. This project involves the conversion of a Grade II listed manor house to incorporate eleven additional bedroom suites, and the construction of new gymnasiums, a hydrotherapy pool, physiotherapy rooms and offices. Stacey Construction’s three divisions are all working together on this scheme—a real team effort!

The Company is also currently working on housing developments in Monmouth and Plymouth totalling approximately £4.5 million, and various other projects which include the complete refurbishment of an 18th Century listed farmhouse at Oakford.

With the work that is already in and many other opportunities in the pipeline, Stacey Construction is gearing up for a very busy summer and recruiting at all levels to enhance the existing highly professional Stacey team.
