PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR AT STACEY CONSTRUCTION

The new year is turning out to be a fruitful one at Stacey Construction in Wiveliscombe. With the recent official opening of a £1/4m hall in Uplowman by Devon radio’s Judie Spiers and the successful completion of Lynton School, the Small Works Division of the Company is proving to be as busy as ever.

The Design and Build Division has recently gained a £1.3m contract to build an exciting and exclusive development of luxurious quayside apartments on the Salcombe/Kingsbridge estuary. The artist’s impression shown details what a superb contract this is for Stacey Construction. The waterside apartments are being constructed in 40 weeks using only local stone and replacing an old and run down brownfield site.

Not wishing to be left behind, two new Tesco Express petrol stations (Swansea & E.Wittering) are keeping the Petrol Forecourt Division busy with these two contracts alone worth £1/2m. As usual, the forecourts will be completed to very fast time schedules particularly in view of the typical increase in fuel demand at Easter.

To keep up with demand, recruitment is also underway within the company, with new employees joining at all levels.
