Many people associate Stacey Construction with large commercial design and build construction work , however, numerous building projects are in fact carefully nurtured under the wing of the Small Works Division, headed by David Wooff.
The Division covers a diverse range of projects including house refurbishments, house extensions, new house builds, business refurbishments, extensions to business and office premises, new business builds, and conversions of outdated buildings for new use.

A particular professionalism of Stacey’s is building / extending properties with real character and charm. In Somerset we are lucky enough to be surrounded by so many wonderful old properties and beautiful countryside. To have a new or renovated building constructed with original charm – using natural stone, reclaimed bricks and oak beams where appropriate is a true art.

With the summer approaching lots of us start planning extensions to our houses and converting / extending existing areas. However, with architects, planning, and building regulations the task can seem a little onerous. The Granary Barn and The Stables – at Stoke St Gregory, were recently successfully converted for business use. Diversification on this farm is certainly proving worthwhile and with reclaimed natural stone, timber boarding and roof tiles, the buildings nestle into their surroundings superbly.
Many new projects are also about to commence, including one for Olds Garage at Cross Keys (refurbishing the office and showroom space).
