STACEY CONSTRUCTION TO BUILD
PETROL FILLING STATION AT NEW MOTORWAY SERVICE AREA ON M54

Stacey Construction has won a contract worth approximately £700,000 for the design and construction of a petrol filling station for Welcome Break Ltd on land adjoining junction 4 of the M54 motorway, near Shifnal in Shropshire.

There are currently no such sites on this motorway and local planning authorities have approved the project in the interests of public/road safety. Works are due to begin on 10th June and will take approximately 12-14 weeks to complete.

Stacey Construction has been presented with a Commendation at the Somerset Environmental Business Initiative Awards 2002 in recognition of the company's commitment to the efficient use of resources and environmental improvement.

Stacey Construction has also recently secured a contract worth c£1m with Tor Homes, based in Totnes, South Devon, to build twenty new dwellings on four separate sights in the Totnes area.
