WIN TWO LUCRATIVE CONTRACTS

STACEY CONSTRUCTION recently secured a £1m contract with Tesco Stores Ltd and works have just commenced on a new development at East Wittering in West Sussex. The project involves the construction of a 360m2 Tesco store/retail unit, with 8 residential apartments on the two floors above; as well as provision of associated parking, service yard, landscaping, and servicing arrangements. The retail unit is scheduled to open in February 2003, and the apartments are expected to be complete by April.

The firm has also recently commenced works on a new affordable housing development in the Totnes area of Devon. The £1m contract with Tor Homes involves the construction of 18 dwellings on 4 different sites, and alterations to 2 existing properties. The homes have been designed to a very high standard and care has been taken to preserve the mature appearance of the sites by retaining as many existing trees, bushes and hedges as possible. The project is scheduled for completion in January 2003.
